Personal credo
My personal credo describes my approach to being a teacher:
If I really want to teach, then I must first understand.
If I really want to understand, then I must first apply.
If I really want to apply, then I must first learn.
If I really want to learn, then I must first observe.
If I really want to observe, then I must first notice.
If I really want to notice, then I must first become aware.
If I really want to be aware, then I must first become open.
If I really want to be open, then I must first become accepting.
